Job Specification:
Brief Duties
Managing internal helpdesk to provide support to staff.
setting up new users’ accounts and profiles
Dealing with password issues;
providing support and general guidance
Progressing support issues to higher level if needed.
Basic pc repairs and upgrades
Installation of new equipment (dependant of skills, experience etc)
Monitoring of internal systems
Assisting in the roll-out of new applications;
Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications (as skill levels allow, increase)
Full Clean Driving Licence
Person Specification:
Essential Requirements
Experience / working knowledge of pcs and software . Understanding of how pcs work
Interest in latest technologies etc
Experience / knowledge of Server based networks (not essential but would be helpful)
Good communication skills e.g. telephone, email etc
Ability to work logically to diagnose faults and document findings
Organised, and able to use initiative to complete tasks as required without assistance
working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate);
rapidly establishing a good working relationship with other members of staff
