Job Role: Service Advisor
Salary:
Dependant on experience
Working Hours:
8am to 6pm Monday to Friday 8.00 to 13.00 Saturday
Job Specification:
The role will involve the following:
Meeting and greeting customers
Booking/Loading customer vehicles onto the workshop system
Arranging Service Loan Cars – scheduling and appointment management
Calling customers to gain authorization for the completion of work
Invoicing – including explanation of invoices to customers
Explanation of repairs and work completed on cars to the customer on their return
Up-selling additional products to customers in relation to service and parts
Managing the tracking of customer vehicles from booking to handover to customer
Person Specification:
Applicants MUST have the following:
Previous experience of working in a Service Advisor position essential
As an experienced Service Advisor the candidate must have proven experience in:
·Booking cars into a workshop environment
·Arranging courtesy vehicles
·Invoicing – including explanation of work completed
·Contacting customers to gain authorization
·Completing repair orders
·Loading completed work onto a computer system
·Up-selling additional products to customers in relation to the work completed
·Ability to remain organised and methodical under pressure
·Ability to manage a number of tasks at any one time through to completion
Previous experience of working with Kerridge would be highly advantageous.
The Ideal candidate should also possess the following:
Good computer skills – Microsoft Office
Excellent organization skills with the ability to multi-task
Professional manner and ability to work using own initiative
Have an excellent eye for detail
Excellent time management and organisation skills
Must have GCSE (grade A to C) in Maths and English or equivalent
Willingness to learn
Excellent team player skills
Ability to work well under pressure
